YOUR GUT AFTER ANTIBIOTICS

During the labor and delivery of my baby, I ended up having to get IV antibiotics as well as a round of antibiotics 6 weeks AFTER the birth due to some complications. I'm grateful because they were truly lifesaving at the moment however I've had to do some serious gut repair work after to get my microbiome back in balance. 

Why the gut microbiome matters? 

Because what happens in the gut absolutely does not stay in the gut. The gut influences everything- mental health, skin and hair health, hormone health, immune health, nutrient status, metabolic health, aging rate.
