DNA methylation is a process that turns genes on and off. Some people may have alterations In their genes that don’t allow them to methylate or turn these gene on/off appropriately. In order for people with gene alterations to methylate, it will be particularly Important to supplement with the right nutrients. Methylation will determine how well the body is functioning and how easily disease can manifest.
